Being a manufacturing textile firm with a work force of 20 administrative, 500 skilled and 600 indirect employees the company performs various functions. The company’s central administration office is located in the heart of Karur with its individual processing units located in different areas in and around Karur. Each unit is located in specific areas based on its functions and the norms set by the government. • Weaving: The weaving unit has a capacity of 5,000 meters per day. It weaves plain, dobby and jacquard fabrics in handloom, power loom or in rapier looms based on the buyer’s specifications. The unit has installed highly productive rapier looms to meet any weaving requirements from a width of 36 to 120. Apart from its in-house weaving capacity the company also out sources to meet the buyers demand. • Dyeing: The Company’s dyeing unit capacity is 3000 kgs of yarn per day. In order to meet standards set by its buyers the unit has also adopted a cabinet dyeing process. It offers colour fastness and test reports as per the instruction of the buyer. The entire dyeing process is done adhering to the requirements of the pollution bureau. • Stitching: With a wide range of stitching facilities, the stitching unit has a capacity of 3000 to 5000 made-ups per day. • Packaging: The Company does various kinds of packing for air and sea. And it also carries out special packaging methods for individual buyers based on their requirements. • Warehousing: With an area of 10,000 sq ft it house’s the company’s quality control unit, yarn stocking unit, the packing unit and the storing unit. • Quality Control: The company has adopted itself to the world standard rating requirements by testing the thread for spin, fabric for integrity, dyed fabric for fastness and finished products for made ups.
